Changing demographics have challenged every public agency to strategize ways to deliver the best possible service to those who are in need. Common pain points:
- Fiscal pressures
- Improving productivity
- Escalating employee costs
- Meeting increasingly diverse citizen expectations
- Doing more with less
- Managing cultural complexities
Case Study: Oregon Health Authority
Our current project with the Oregon Health Authority, Office of Equity and Inclusion, is an example of our approach:
- We are an approved vendor for technical assistance for Coordinated Care Organizations across the State of Oregon
- We consult with CCOs about a plan for training and/or facilitation that is tailored specifically to the needs of their organization
- We have provided training for the OEI Transformation Center and DELTA (Developing Equity Leadership through Training and Action) on topics such as:
- Cultural agility
- Privilege, power and micro-aggressions
- Unconscious Bias
- Cultural Identity
- We align all of our work with the vision, mission, and purpose of the Office of Equity and Inclusion, specifically focusing on the “elimination of avoidable health gaps and the promotion of optimal health for the citizens of Oregon”
